Synopsis
When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry gets her livelihood attacked by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she sets out to get revenge and shake up the industry.
I never expected it to be this good!
There’s drama, suspense, tension, and the dialogue is downright hilarious!
Each character is carefully developed, even if they only appear for a few minutes
But as the plot progresses, it seems that despite the complex and personal issues faced by each of the three main characters, the series is mostly comedic, and proof of that is that the director has a great understanding of what makes a great comedy: MOVEMENT.
In fact, most of the “funny movies or TV shows” released these days lack this essential ingredient, namely actors who know how to use MOVEMENT to comedic effect
